Verna Cuthbert is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada and avocate à la retraite of the Barreau du Québec. Prior to her retirement in Spring of 2017 she was a senior commercial lawyer and counsel with Fasken Martineau DuMoulin’s office in Montreal and prior to that she was a partner in an international law firm headquarted in New York.
Ms. Cuthbert practised law for more than 41 years in Ontario and in Quebec for more than 31 years. She specialized in commercial real estate financing and development, acquisitions and dispositions and acted for many public and private corporations, institutional investors, lenders, developers and pension funds and as such she has extensive experience in both common law and civil law jurisdictions in financing, lending, leasing, joint ventures, development and management contracts and transactions.
Ms. Cuthbert is a member of the Association of Quebec Women in Finance/Association des Femmes en Finance du Québec (“AFFQ”), the Canadian Bar Association, Women’s Law Association of Ontario and Commercial Real Estate Women (“CREW”). She is a governor of both the Foundation of the Women’s Centre of Montréal/la Fondation du centre des femmes de Montréal and of the Foundation of the Quebec Bar/la Fondation du Barreau du Québec.
Ms. Cuthbert is a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School (LL.B.) and the University of Toronto (B.A.).

Susan Doré has been a Director and/or Officer of MCAN, Mutual Trust and other predecessor companies since 1980. Mrs. Doré is a founding member of the MCAP Group of Companies.
Mrs. Doré retired from her position as MCAN’s Corporate Secretary in 2003. Prior to this role, she held various positions with MCAN and its predecessor companies. Mrs. Doré has also served as a Director for various private companies.
Mrs. Doré obtained her CPA,CGA designation in 1986.

Gordon Herridge was Senior Vice President, Corporate Services at MCAP Commercial LP when he retired in July, 2017. In that role, Mr. Herridge served on the Executive Committee of MCAP, focusing primarily on Strategic Planning, Corporate Governance and Risk Management matters. Prior to that role, Mr. Herridge held the roles of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of MCAP Leasing and Chief Financial Officer of MCAP Service Corporation. Prior to his career at MCAP, Mr. Herridge worked with private commercial real estate development and management companies as well as in public accounting.
Mr. Herridge obtained his designation as CPA, CA in 1980 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Waterloo.

Before joining MCAN, Mr. Jandrisits held numerous positions in the financial sector with experience in virtually every aspect of the real estate investment industry. Immediately preceding his appointment at MCAN, he was the Director of Finance for Starwood Capital Group, a privately held investment management firm that specializes in real estate related investments on behalf of select private and institutional investment partners. Starwood Capital Group possesses a highly diversified real estate portfolio comprised of more than $14 billion in assets.
Mr. Jandrisits came to Starwood after holding the position of Managing Director, North American Real Estate for RBC Financial Group. During his tenure with RBC he was responsible for various aspects of real estate lending activities in the United States, including loan production, structuring of complex transactions, monitoring business performance and oversight of several operating units of RBC’s North American lending operations.
Previously Mr. Jandrisits spent nine years at the Royal Bank of Canada, where he last served as Vice President of Global Real Estate and was responsible for managing the bank’s global real estate portfolio. Prior to joining RBC in 1993, Mr. Jandrisits held positions at Sun Life Trust as a Manager in the Real Estate Finance division and at Citibank Canada, where he was a Senior Associate in their Corporate Real Estate Group.
Mr. Jandrisits received an HBA and an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Prior to her retirement in early 2015, Loraine McIntosh served as an Audit and Advisory Partner with Deloitte LLP. Ms. McIntosh has over 30 years of experience providing accounting, assurance and advisory services to a wide range of organizations across Canada (both public and private) with a particular emphasis on the financial services sector. Clients served include entities (both regulated and non-regulated) in the following sectors: Banking (Schedule I, Schedule II, Credit Unions), Mortgage Lending, Leasing, Securitization, Insurance (P&C and Life), and federal Crown Corporations. Ms. McIntosh is recognized for her expertise with respect to securitization, leasing, and other complex financial structures / transactions. She has extensive experience with financial accounting, reporting and disclosure matters.
Ms. McIntosh obtained her CPA designation in 1984 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) from York University.

Gaelen J. Morphet CFA was Executive Vice President & Chief Investment Officer of Sentry Investments until October 2017 when Sentry was acquired by CI Financial. Prior to this role, Ms. Morphet was Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Empire Life Investments and Empire Life Insurance Company, a position she held since 2009. She held previous positions as First Vice President, Canadian Equities at CIBC Global Asset Management, and Senior Vice President, Equities at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
Ms. Morphet is a member of the Foundation Board of the AGO and the Ontario Arts Foundation.

Derek Sutherland joined MCAN in 2004 and was most recently promoted to Vice President and Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in January 2013 where he was responsible for oversight of all relevant risks across MCAN. He held this role until 2016 and in 2017 was elected to the Board of Directors.
Before being named as CRO, Mr. Sutherland held roles at MCAN where he was at times responsible for or was actively involved with term deposits, liquidity management, outsourcing, portfolio management, mortgage fundings, investment management, compliance and anti-money laundering. Prior to joining MCAN, Mr. Sutherland was with KPMG, where he worked in the corporate finance and audit practices. In both the audit and corporate finance practices at KPMG his focus was with financial services companies.
Mr. Sutherland received a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University. He holds CPA, CA and CBV designations.

Mr. Sutherland was Chairman of the Board and Investment Committee of Teachers Retirement Annuity Fund (Manitoba) from 1997 to 2001. He currently serves as a Director of MCAP Commercial LP.

Ms. Weaver has significant experience in real estate, public financial accounting, reporting and corporate operations. Ms. Weaver has spent the last 15+ years as an Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer publicly listed corporations including DH Corporation from 2014-2017 and First Capital Realty Inc. from 2004-2014. She held previous positions as Senior Vice President and CFO at Brookfield Properties Corporation, Canadian Operations and Gentra Inc.
Ms. Weaver is a licensed public accountant from Washington State, USA, is a certified corporate director (“ICD.D”) in Canada and a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors. She also holds a NACD CERT in Cyber Security Oversight. Ms. Weaver obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration from Old Dominion University in Virginia.
Ms. Weaver also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Ontario Science Centre.
William Terrence Wright

William Terrence Wright, Q.C. shares his valuable experience from many years in executive positions within the financial services industry. Prior to 2006, when he re-joined Pitblado LLP as Counsel, Mr. Wright was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of IGM Financial Inc. (Investors Group) from 1992 to 2005. In this role, Mr. Wright was responsible for the legal, regulatory, compliance and public policy issues concerning Investors Group and its subsidiaries. During this time, he also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Investment Funds Institute of Canada and the Mutual Funds Dealers Association of Canada and a director of the Canadian Payments Association, Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments and the Centre for the Financial Services OmbudsNetwork.
Mr. Wright was a member of the Federal Finance Minister’s Task Force for the Payment Systems Review (2010/2011) and has served on the Boards of a number of other public, regulated and private companies. Mr. Wright also has a strong sense of community involvement, having served as President of the Board of Directors of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Chairman of the Health Sciences Centre Research Foundation Inc., Chairman of the Board of both the Victoria General Hospital and the Victoria General Hospital Foundation Inc., Manitoba Chair of the National Mental Health Fund, Capital Campaign Co Chair Red River College and President of the Children’s Home of Winnipeg.
Mr. Wright received economics and law degrees from the University of Manitoba in 1967 and 1970 respectively, was called to the Bar in Manitoba in 1971 and currently serves on the Boards of ICE Futures (Canada) Inc. and ICE Clear (Canada) Inc.
